This is a escape room game where you are able to freeze and rewind time. The player moves between parallel worlds solving simplistic puzzles. There's ability to freeze and rewind time but unfortunately these don't have much use. Combat with bow and arrow works fine as well.
The game is short, around half an hour, but it's alright experience at least for the price.
Half-Life style shooter with health pickups, lots of guns and physics puzzles. Shooting works well enough but lacks feeling. Unfortunately this game lacks the variety, AI quality and good story of Half-Life 2, and ends up feeling incredibly repetitive. It's not really a bad game but it doesn't do anything particularly well either.
Very linear levels, lots of instant deaths you can't see coming, no checkpoints and enemies spawning directly in front of player. At least the game is short and cheap during sales, but I can't really think of anything else positive.
If you still insist on buying this game, you can enable god mode by typing "god" in the console. You'll need it.
If you like Max Payne, you might like this one too. It's a third person shooter with bullet time, but everything is bit clunkier than in Max Payne and the story is quite uninteresting. It is only 4-5 hours long, but is a cheap game especially during sales.
Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus isn't quite as good as the previous two games, but it's definitely worth a play for the fans of first person shooters. The game seems to have stronger focus on stealth which is a minus in my books. Shooting is still great though. The story is bit too over-the-top at times, but it is mostly entertaining.
NecroVisioN: Lost Company is prequel to the first game. If you like Painkiller or Serious Sam, you'll probably enjoy this one too. It is fairly enjoyable old school shooter packed with action. It is a difficult game.
On the negative side, the game isn't good looking even by the time of release. I also encountered couple of crashes and bugs.
Gameplay is about what you would expect from a XCOM game, but it's more story focused and linear. Not as deep as XCOM 2 but it's still a good turn-based game.
Played the game for half an hour and I feel like I've seen everything it has to offer. The idea of the game is funny, but there's very little content. The game is buggy and janky but it has some weird charm. Might be worth the price during a sale.
Fun game to play and nice graphical style. The game is an arcade shooter and the player is rewarded with points for kills with different styles. Comboing kills for higher points is enjoyable. Player has also ability to slow down time, it reminds me a bit of bullet time in Max Payne, and it's fun to use. Story is cliche but it's told well and the voice acting is good.
On the negative side the game is pretty short. Took me four hours to complete on the hardest difficulty.
This game has bunch of pretty cool mechanicsfor its time, such as bullet time few years before Max Payne. Unfortunately the controls have not aged too well, games like Half-Life and Unreal hold up way better in that regard. The game works on modern machines without any mods although it crashes quite often on pause menu.
The game is quite challenging and not always for the right reasons. Sometimes enemies shoot through the walls which is not helped by mostly hitscan weaponry, and sometimes they just melt you in seconds. Quicksave is your best friend.
If you're willing to look past these flaws and like retro shooter, you'll get an okay game. Using the powers is quite fun and reminds me a bit of Jedi Knight. Story is surprisingly interesting although not very deep. Requiem: Avenging Angel is interesting experience for fans of the genre.
The game is too simple for my taste. It is fun for maybe the first 20 minutes, but after that it just gets boring. There is no variety at all. I can't really recommend this game.
If you're a fan of modern Telltale games, this is one of the best you can get. One of the funniest games I've ever played and the characters are surprisingly well written.
This game is not as good as the first three Monkey Island games, but it's still pretty good. Unlike modern Telltale games this one which are more like interactive movies, this one is a real point-and-click game. I recommend this to the fans of the series.
