Cities: Skylines

Great casual game

Great alternative to SIM city. Good graphics, but the traffic is almost game-breakingly bad. In every late game, it rapidly becomes a game of trying to fix roads and connecting everything better, instead of making your ideal city. Other than that, fun game.

Stellaris - Galaxy Edition

Great game, steep learning curve

If you have the APM and the patience to spare, this game has plenty of depth. A bit difficult to master for a casual player, but if you're willing to put in the hours, the game will absolutely reward your hard work.

Sid Meier's Civilization V: The Complete Edition

Great time-suck

The definition of "just one more turn." Once you immerse yourself in the world, it's hard to stop playing. That being said, after ten or so games, I lost interest. There's only so many ways to win, and once you have done them all, the game loses that special something which keeps you going.

Fallout 4

Good game, for Bethesda.

It's very easy to get immersed in the world. Exploring the post-apocalypse is an amazing adventure. And the base-building is a GREAT feature. However, few of the characters are likeable, and the factions lack any real depth. It's hard to feel like you're changing the game world, when most of the faction quests are fetch or contract-killing.
