If you like first-person RPG shooters like BioShock, System Shock 2 and others in that vein, Prey is very much for you. It's a triumph of world design and it's remarkably challenging for a modern AAA title and has an interesting story with a few impressive twists. It also allows you to spec in multiple ways, enabling you to approach it primarily as stealth or multiple types of combat focused, also giving a number of ancillary skills you can specialise in. It's ending is a big let down and clearly shows that the tail end of development was rush but it's still among my favourite games of 2017.
