HITMAN™ 2
 –

Complete Experience

With the first game included, this is an incredible amount of content. The sandboxes are deep and will keep you puzzling how to get all the various story beats for quite a long time. Elusive contracts and all the escalations just make it impossible to experience it all. Great stuff.

FYI: If you have the first game, Hitman 2 ports all the maps in for free regardless if you own the second game or not and all achievements/contracts/etc related to the first game's content are available to you.

BATTLETECH
 –

Clunky but fun

A bit clunky and awkward in terms of graphics and animations, but the fantasy of running your own mech mercenary group is just too strong to pass up. If you have those feels at all, this is worth your time and effort.

Endless Space® 2 - Penumbra
 –

Another Great DLC

The Endless games always have quality DLC and this is no exception. A new faction that takes advantage of a new set of features. If you love the Endless games, check it out!

Dishonored 2
 –

Better Sequel with a Worse Story

Better in every way than the original game with the exception of the plot being a literal retread and the Outsider's voice actor being somewhat less good. Level design is peerless.

Classic Game at a Great Price

A fun classic with a great soundtrack. For some reason $10 cheaper than most marketplaces and worth it!

Challenging Boss Rush

A weird-cool aesthetic with great soundtrack and challenging, deep boss battles. A bit clunky in some aspects but delivers where it matters.

Cities: Skylines - Natural Disasters
 –

Challenge Mode

Adds some fun challenges to the city builder but not necessary if you just want the chill core game.

Cities: Skylines - Green Cities
 –

Non-essential but Good DLC

A non-essential DLC in a game with probably too many, but still worth it on a sale.

Stellaris: Apocalypse
 –

Non-essential but Good on Sale

It adds some content but probably not enough for the price. Worth it on a deep sale or for completionists.

Cities: Skylines - Parklife Plus

One of the Better DLCs

Definitely a good addition with lots of fun little mechanics. Get it on a sale.

Crusader Kings II: The Reaper's Due
 –

The DLC that broke me

This adds an excellent plague mechanic and was probably the last time I felt like purchasing a CKII dlc.

Crusader Kings II: Horse Lords

Not Bad

Not necessary but not bad either on a sale.

Crusader Kings II: Way of Life
 –

Good Core DLC

Pretty important DLC and definitely worth it (on sale) for the mechanics it adds.

Airport Madness 3D: Volume 2
 –

Trash

Really poor in almost every way. Basically a clicker with awful production value. Not even a charming failure, just a cheap cash grab. Not sure who it's meant to fool.

Crusader Kings II: Horse Lords Content Pack
 –

Typical CKII DLC Cosmetics

Not really worth it except on a deep sale or for completionists.

Stellaris
 –

Quite Good

A great mixture of Crusader Kings and UEIV with some streamlining to make it more palatable for durps like me who just can't deal with CKII's style (or lack thereof.) Not perfect, and DLC policy notwithstanding, this is a unique and great space empire sandbox and well worth your time if you're into this sort of thing. Be prepared to shell out for the DLC tho.

Tales from the Borderlands (Telltale Key)
 –

The Best Telltale Game

Not a Steam Key for some reason. That said, the game itself is the tip top of fun and humor. As someone who's not a fan of Borderlands OR Telltale games, I enjoyed the heck out of it. It's not perfect and the middle bit isn't as strong as the opening and closing acts, but overall, it's the best thing Telltale and Borderlands have produced.

Titan Souls
 –

Good Boss Rush

Good boss rush with great music and aesthetics marred by having no keyboard and mouse support for some reason.

Dishonored
 –

The real modern Thief Franchise

A very dynamic modernization of the Thief games, much moreso than the Thief reboot. Not perfect but lovingly made and still holds up and looks good on current systems.

Euro Truck Simulator 2
 –

Captivating in a strange way

For some reason I keep playing this game. It should be incredibly boring but it manages to do the 'euro sim' thing in a way that is captivating despite looking a bit scruffy. You'll want DLC, and there's a lot of it, but the main expansions of the map are the good ones and usually pretty cheap on a sale. And worth it.
