Warhammer: Chaosbane Magnus Edition
 –

A nice hack'n slash, but perfectible

Warhammer: Chaosbane appears as an accessible hack'n slash, but is sorely lacking in variety. For a gaming experience without headache, in order to go to kill hordes of enemies between friends for a few evenings, it fulfills its role pretty well. The loot, those who have dozens of hours to invest to optimize their avatar, will remain clearly on their hunger as the endgame content is limited. As it stands, it is impossible to describe Chaosbane as indispensable.

Endless Legend Emperor Pack
 –

Test : Endless Legend Emperor Pack

The classic to Emperor Pack is not the complete game, it's only an update of the classic pack to access the contents of the Emperor pack.
But now there is no difference between the two packs (except perhaps for the ship and the exclusive hero of Dungeon Of the Endless), the developers have added the contents of the Emperor pack to those with the classic pack.

Sam & Max: Season Two

Test : Sam & Max: Season Two

Sam & Max: Season 2 stands out as one of the best adventure games of recent years. His quality of writing, his screenplay, his pretty achievement, his successful gameplay and especially his ubiquitous humor make it clearly a must for players looking for a good time to pass in front of their screen.

The Walking Dead: A New Frontier
 –

Test : The Walking Dead: A New Frontier

Telltale's productions have been purring for far too long. The studio is content to reproduce its winning formula adaptation after adaptation without worrying about the lack of interest in its games and The Walking Dead: A New Frontier is paying the price. Without being bad, on the contrary, this season 3 suffers from a feeling of déjà-vu that only leaves you at rare moments. The fault lies in an agreed gameplay and pen that both struggle to be renewed, despite this desire to make the subject more mature. And if the truth was elsewhere? An interactive adventure is judged by its ability to involve the player, to put him in front of tough choices and to make him suffer the consequences. And on this point, Telltale transforms the essay with talent and combines the background and the form with the help of an artistic direction faithful to the original material (namely the comics) and an omnipresent violence, mirror of this post universe -apocalyptique.

METAL GEAR SOLID V: THE PHANTOM PAIN
 –

Test : Metal Gear Solid V : The Phantom Pain

This Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain has a disconcerting experience that amazes everyone, fans and novices in the early hours with solid technique and gameplay that has found a smooth and balanced formula. Then the excitement gradually falls as the repetitiveness of the missions and the pace of narration are the reason for the patience of the player. Kojima Productions had the means to accomplish its open world with the FOX Engine, its home engine. But it is clear that in their application, a gap separates this MGS V from the best open Western worlds. The last offshoot of the series is a tentative attempt for an icon, Hideo Kojima, subscriber masters. To recycle its effects to the absurd, The Phantom Pain will probably not be the end in apotheosis expected by the fans, but it is nonetheless an authentic game, with a true identity of its own, and unlike any other game. Metal Gear Solid remains, until its last moments, a series out of the ordinary.

DARK SOULS™ III
 –

TEST : DARK SOULS III (PC)

Like the career of its great architect, the series of Souls is experiencing a dazzling progression since its humble beginnings in 2009. After a start to the diesel, the saga created by Hidetaka Miyazaki now leaves at an almost annual tempo. The same recipe being shared between Bandai with Dark Souls and Sony with Bloodborne, it is not very difficult to explain this unbridled rhythm. This divergence of name does not deceive anyone and its main director is willing to push a little more each time its concept of challenge demanding, but just. A red thread found in every corner of Dark Souls III, presented as the latest episode of the saga, promised, sworn.

Magicka 2: Ice, Death and Fury
 –

Much more destructive

In addition to new spells to inflict upon your friends, Ice, Death and Fury brings with it four scenarios which I'm told are all-new game modes: Protect the King, Troll Cave, Darkness and Old Wizard.

Craft The World
 –

God-like RPG

At its core, Craft the World is a crafting game. It's a God-like RPG, reminiscent of the old Populous, where you are in charge of a tribe of Dwarfs and can issue commands to build structures and objects, dig tunnels and mine minerals, and attack enemies that will, at regular intervals, attempt to steal your item cache and kill your workers. In the beginning, you start with one lonely Dwarf, and each level you gain increases your dwarf population by one; the more Dwarfs you have, the more work you can do.

Flockers
 –

Lemmings formula

Much like the recent MouseCraft, which at least had a Tetris twist, Flockers struggles to move out of the shadow cast by Lemmings' brilliantly pure concept. While that adherence to a classic template yields considerable amusement, over time the features that should have lifted it higher start to become frustrating. Not only does it not move beyond the 1991 formula in any meaningful way, in the long term it struggles to match it.

Fahrenheit: Indigo Prophecy Remastered
 –

PROPHET MARGINAL

It's a shame that more significant improvements weren't made to Fahrenheit: Indigo Prophecy Remastered, since playing both sides of a murder conspiracy is still such an interesting concept that's not often done right. However, the frantic button prompts, still-stupid stealth, and newly-introduced glitches make this Remaster way too unrefined.
