Game is really easy and quite... overadvertised. Definetely lags behind games like XCOM when it comes to difficulty rating, but otherwise it's ok. Really good music and graphics in it, puts you right into the times.
New species type which is... interesting, a bit hive-mindy so if you are into this sort of stuff, it will be fun. They are slightly unqiue, but not sure if as much as full price would require.
I would call it watered down DLC - you get some small additions here and there, but otherwise it's not a game changer. Only if you are really running out of new things to do in Cities Skylines. Or on big promotion.
This game is just plain AMAZING. Difficulty of entry thanks to the new style of tooltips that you can explore deeper and deeper is MUCH lower than before. Also, graphics is a beauty, gameplay is dangerous tho. I started playing one evening, just blinked (I swear) and it was 4am.
It seems that Paradox is milking now just last drops out of the EU4 cow. I think that unless this is on really good promo, you can safely skip this DLC.
Paradox tends to create long running games that have a lot of DLCs. But even deep in the lifespan of a game, it still brings in value like this one. Really loving new espionage/intelligence mechanics.
This game is pure fun on multiplayer co-op and tons of fun even alone. Highly recommended if you like few minutes of high-pressure, high adrenaline game with cure pauses in between.
Really nice enhancement of the base game, new maps are as always creative and well done. If you liked base game, get this DLC too, really good value for money.
Well... if you saw Parks, this one will be same mechanics, only in academic way. Adds some nice university capacity to your city, but otherwise... nothing groundbreaking.
This game thies to be something a bit more realistic, but at the same time marketing dept wanted to keep it as simple as possible "to reach broader audience". In the end.. it's meh.
Looks like Paradox ran out of ideas what to do with EU4. This time they bring small additions, a bit of missions (I htink Rule Brittania brought that milk source) a bit perks and that's about it. Buy at -50% at least, not worth it if it's more expensive. +1 Star for being a "small" DLC for 10$, not a big 20$ one.
This time we got a DLC that is good, but it just lacks that oomph. MegaCorps are good addition, but they don't stand out that much from the crowd as synths and hiveminds do. Overall, not bad for a good price, for a full price I would consoder twice.
Otherwise, just wait for good promo. BattleTech is a really nostalgic game to me, so I can't objectively say that it's good value - I would buy it all anyway to get fullest content. First expansion brings a lot of freshness to the game and I hope they will keep it up.
Game is AMAZING - it has most of the stuff that was in the base Battletech boardgame. But... As much as it was enough to be a board game, we grew to expect more from computer games. Maybe expansions will add more content. Single player campaign is quite good, story line is solid while being able to simply ignore it and hunt for glory is just great. And as with most (all?) Paradox games, modding community is amazing, definitely worth modifying your game.
Parks are kinda like minigame inside major game. They can make or break your city of course, but they are kinda like something you do between major developments. Nevertheless - fun stuff.
