Hearts of Iron IV: Death or Dishonor
 –

Very nice addition to the Balkans

This made playing these nations a lot more fun, so it's a must have if you like the challenge they offer.
Feels incomplete though, because they left out some nations.

Hearts of Iron IV: Together for Victory
 –

Commenwealth Essential

If you want your empire to fight efficiently, this expansion offers some essential tools. Should have been in the base game anyway though.

Hearts of Iron IV: Waking the Tiger
 –

Must have for Asia, good for others

You obviously can't miss out on this if you love playing Japan or China.
Traits and skills for Generals can be a decisive factor in war for all nations.

Stellaris: MegaCorp
 –

Essential for Economists

Completely rethinks how building, economy and trader function in Stellaris. It's far from perfect but you wouldn't want to miss it.

Europa Universalis IV: Common Sense
 –

Necessary

Some of the features are somewhat outdated or pale in comparison to newer features, but some are still essential. I recommend buying.

Crusader Kings II: Horse Lords Content Pack
 –

Okay-ish

Not a must and not the best or most used unit sprites, but some diversity is always nice.

Crusader Kings II: Way of Life
 –

Life saver

What this DLC adds to the game is almost too powerful. It unlocks abilities for your characters, if you follow specific ways of life. Murdering becomes so much easier when you are a professional spy!

L.A. Noire: The Complete Edition
 –

Film noir

There aren't too many games like LA Noire, with the Mafia series coming closest.

Be aware of issues with Win 10 though. If you manage to make the game run, it's still very recommended.

Grand Theft Auto V
 –

The complete package

Probably the biggest and most complete game ever made, rivaled only by World of Warcraft. Absolute must have.

Crusader Kings II: Horse Lords
 –

Essential for nomads

It finally makes the hordes a unique experience worth playing. So if you are interested in that kind of variety, grab this expansion.

Crusader Kings II: Conclave Content Pack
 –

Neat but not necessary

You might register the little differences this pack provides at first, but after some few hours it becomes pretty much irrelevant. Only for enthusiasts.

Fallout 4: Game of the Year Edition
 –

Great but not Fallout

The well known verdict that Fallout 4 is a great shooter but a bad Fallout game is true. The game is absolutely worth buying, just don't expect a New Vegas.

Airport Madness 3D: Volume 2
 –

Pass

Bad graphics, too simple gameplay. There is no reason why you'd want to buy this game. I suggest to buy Mini Metro instead.

Crusader Kings II: Conclave
 –

Vassals buff

A not existential but very recommended expansion. The council enriches the gameplay within your empire in multiple ways. It allows your vassals to compete for power but it also gives you a better option to shape and organize your realm. So even if you are big enough not to worry about external enemies, the internal competition keeps the campaign entertaining.
