Far Cry 5 is not a great game, like the first of its name or the two following could have been. It's an open-world shooter with a poor story, grotesque characters, farming game mechanisms and an overall realisation that isn't THAT great.

But it's also the Far Cry 2's (and 3, and 4) recipe of a chaotic mess, with patrols arriving just when you run out of bullets, wildlife going wilder and fire spreading all around. This is an enjoyable way to relax, looking at the world going mad and hunting villains in lush landscapes. It's a game about freedom and chaos. I enjoyed playing it, but I think I won't remember it for a long time.

Not a great game, just a decent game. Buy it cheap.
