This expansion changes the game mechanics and fix a lot of exploits. In original game you can beat it with all squad of just one type of soldiers. Now they adapt and you need to adapt too. Also it adds a lot of new content.

Great expansion on reasanable price (not as last EU4 expansions). It adds new layer of strategy, but also makes game more random and force you always to have backup plan for bad events. Witch is compensate by random bad events to your oponents. Also the new free patch is increadbly good so it deserves support.

Nice touch to this great game. Espetialy fire in the woods!

The other 4x games are no match to this one. But if you expect something like CK2 or EU4 you will be disapointed. It takes a lot of things from GS, but not enought to be GS. In the scale from 4x to GS it's close to 4x... but with GS elemets it beats them all. Some reviews are right tt there is a gap in mid game and the AI is very passive most time, but it have it's moment of glory even in war and I belive that this will be fixed in next patches, ususaly Paradox lisen the comunity and fix issues like this with free patches.

Overal I recomend this game, even for GS fans, but just don't expect EU4 in space or you'll be disapointed.

Very diferent filling then base game. Not nessesery to buy, but it's one more reason to play again this grat game.
