Although not as detailed as titles like the Civ series, AoW 3 is a great game. If you enjoy the fantasy theme mixed with 4x style play, turn based battles and a bit of empire building, you'll love this game. Also as you progress, there are skills your heroes can learn, and gear that they can collect to help their stats.
[A game with a "rich" plot that unfolds a little too slowly but is nevertheless engaging and articulated. The static images are of good quality, as well as the music. There are also some scenic "effects" that reinforce the overall impact of the story. From a technical point of view, the game is dated: it is much affected by the passage of time and offers a long series of scenes with very old-fashioned hidden objects (too full for today's tastes!) And which are repeated several times. Not all mini-games are easy to understand: there are often no precise explanations on how to deal with them. There is no map and so you are forced to long laps, simplified only if you use the help that "explains" the actions to be performed. Positive note: the series of anecdotes about the Statue of Liberty scattered here and there, representing a touch of quality. Three stars and the advice to buy it for a few hours of fun without too much effort and without asking too much. Played with iMac OS X 10.11.2 El Capitan.]
In the same gist as FTL, you start off with a basic bomber that's very vulnerable to breakdown and damage so you stick to low-risk missions to build yourself up. Eventually you get strong enough to try the main campaign missions... and subsequently get your arse handed to you on a silver platter.
This is an extremely unforgiving game, but by no means is it not fun. There's never a dull moment, even the starts of missions feel like the calm before the storm. The ability for example to make calls like whether to go for optional objectives, or just the main objective, or even abort the mission just to try and limp home is amazing and really immersive, as it only adds to the rest of the player choice during everything.
This adds extra gore to the main game. However, it should not be a paid DLC, but rather an option in the settings menu. Despite this, purchasing this for either Warhammer 1 or Warhammer 2 will unlock it for both games.
All-Star Fruit Racing is the kart racing game you’ve been waiting for! Graphically stunning and incredible fun with a strategic twist that will keep you playing.
