Such An Unexpected Surprise!

Normally, I play shooter/action games and crave the adrenaline that shooter and action games normally give you. So imagine my surprise when I bought this point and click game and instantly fell in love with the gameplay and the design. I was worried that this game would easily bore me, however, it did the complete opposite. I was completely absorbed by the gameplay and the puzzles. While some puzzles are difficult, the majority of the puzzles are logical. The best part is that you don't have to exit out of the game and search an online walkthrough if you get stumped. The game offers hints and an entire walkthrough if you truly cannot figure out what to do next. The designs in this game are beyond cool and the characters are humurous at times. Overall, this game is exceptional.

Europa Universalis IV: Mandate of Heaven
 –

Pretty Cool

The new "ages" mechanic with splendor points that you can spend on new abilities is pretty cool. Same for the "golden era" option, though it's a shame you can only declare one once per campaign. One thing to keep in mind is that all of your opponents will have access to the same improvements (you'll likely see dozens of "Nation X has declared a golden era!" messages).

The diplomatic macrobuilder is moderately useful, EU4 definitely needs more menus like this (so you can see, at a glance, if there are any nations around willing to ally you or accept vassalization).

Can't speak for any changes for the chinese/japanese factions as I haven't played those nations yet. I'm still worried about how crippled they'll be by the very slow expanse of institutions to that part of the world.

The Silent Age
 –

Cool and unique small platformer

The Silent Age is something really different, it has an unique graphics style, its mechanics (point & click) are unlike most 2d platformers, its voice acting and story are cool.

Considering the low price on sales, The Silent Age is an intriguing buy I can recommend.

Californium
 –

Artsy and interesting, but short

Californium has quite an interesting graphics style, which is inviting and lovable, but the game is quite short with somewhat clunky controls. If it were a little bit better and if there was more f it, Californium would be phenomenal, but it's only decent.

Europa Universalis IV: Wealth of Nations
 –

Improvements to trade

Not that much content included in this one (I think most of the changes made it into the free patch, which is really nice of Paradox). I still bought it on sale (and it's fairly cheap to begin with), and noticed a few new options, like using your spy network to "justify trade conflict" giving you a cheap casus belli. Or manually moving your trade capital to another province (I probably think I understand trade mechanics well enough to have found a use for this yet though).

I'd only recommend getting this one on a steep discount (>50%), and make sure you have other more important DLCs first.

Dungeon of the Endless - Crystal Pack
 –

Awesome little timewaster.

TD meets roguelike dungeoncrawler in space. Keeps you busy and trying again and again and again... and again. And no matter how much you'll come to hate it at times, you'll come to love it all the same, ...and you keep coming back for ...just ...one ...more ...try .....

Dishonored Definitive Edition
 –

Quite Good

Definitely worth playing. High chaos playthroughs feel more fleshed out and entertaining, gameplay-wise, as they allow for the use of more weapons in creative ways. My first playthrough was low chaos (non-lethal), and I gave up out of boredom towards the end and started a high-chaos playthrough instead, which I enjoyed enough to play it to completion.

BioShock Infinite - Season Pass

Excellent

Thoroughly enjoyed the DLC. A great end to the trilogy.

Mafia III
 –

Better than expected

A very repetitive game, but I enjoyed the gameplay enough for it not to feel boring as a result. Game runs very poorly under certain in-game weather conditions, however, and I found it unplayable when this occurred, as the framerate dropped below 10fps (GTX 970, high settings). This did not occur often, however, and the game ran smoothly otherwise. The soundtrack is phenomenal.

The Evil Within 2
 –

A Great Improvement

I was weary of this game when I learned it was semi-open world. To my surprise, I found this was implemented exceptionally well. Definitely recommend.

Dead Cells
 –

A Fun Title

An interesting 2D rogue-like game inspired in part by the souls series. Still in Early Access, but feels complete.

TEKKEN 7
 –

It's Tekken

A solid entry into the series. However, the game is considerably lacking in single-player content when compared to previous games. A definite buy if looking for a great online fighting game, nonetheless.

The Walking Dead: A New Frontier
 –

Finally back on it's way

I played every title of the TTG Walking Dead Series now. It does not reacht Season one, but it's way better than season 2 (which I also liked). Unforntunatly it's not that long anymore. But better short and good entertainment, then long and boring.

Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series (Telltale Key)
 –

That's the spirit of the movie.

I will keep it short: If you liked the movie, this one is for you. It's like all TTGs more an interactive novel than a real game, but it entertains.

Broken Age
 –

Not as good as imagined

So, here it is now: Broken Age, one of the great Hopes in kickstarter games. It's a decent adventure, but not so special and good as everyone hoped for. Nontheless you will have fun, but there are other adventures here, that you will have more fun with.

PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS
 –

It might be not the most polished game but one of the funniest.

I started with version 1.0, after so many people were so enthusastic about the game and yes, they are right. It might have still bugs and does not run so well, even on a good machine, but if you liked the Battle Royale / Hunger Games mods in other games, you will love PUBG.

The Book of Unwritten Tales 2
 –

Beautiful, funny, long playtime

Book of unwiritten tales and The Critter chronicles were fantastic adventures with a lot of humor. Part Two is a worthy successor of them both. If you love adventures with humor and some nice ideas, which are about 20 hours lenght, buy it!

Tropico 5: Inquisition DLC

An Ok DLC for a fun game

If you liked the main game and the premise of this DLC interests you then you can certainly spend a couple of Euros to buy this DLC during a sale.
