Some interesting focus trees, but not much mechanically new or exciting.

The focus trees are a bit less exciting this time, but the new mechanics are excellent.

I bought this game at sale without really knowing about the story or it's mechanics.
It feels like a Far Cry game, meaning you should expect an open world with lots of quests and lots to do. The survival mode adds more environment and immersion but also repetitive tasks, you need to hunt to survive. Hunting feels good specially if you use the spear. Only wish it had multiplayer options...

Having played most of the other Telltale games like The Walking Dead, Wolf Among Us, Tales Of The Borderlands and more, I kind of knew what to expect. You get a good to great story, some good chuckles and well-written characters. What you don't get is a whole lot of gameplay mechanics and puzzles. Since I wasn't expecting a lot of that (and don't miss it), I sure had my fun. Even as someone who isn't super into the movies and I haven't re-watched them in a lot of years, I found the game really fun. If you like classic Point and Click with demanding puzzles, steer clear of this game and the other Telltale adventures that are more interactive movie than traditional video game.

The fans of the series will love it! At this price, it s a steal!

It's way too short to get attached to any of the characters and besides - whatever your decisions may be - it hardly matters in the bigger picture. Just some cameos in Season 2 and most (if not all) of them - kinda pointless.

I only bought it because of the Era feature, the rest is just... Ok

Adds new stuff. Errbody loves new stuff! Take this DLC, for example. Very lovable.
