As a huge fan of puzzle sidescrollers, I can't say I'm not satisfied. While the story has some cliches, it's certainly interesting. As for the gameplay, it can be plenty challenging, especially later on, when you have access to your whole movement arsenal. You get a twist of action here and there, where you can't really afford to lollygag, especially if you want to collect everything in that level.
The game on itself is just stunningly beautiful, but you need appropirately powerful machine to enjoy this bliss. Graphics options are limited to just resolution changes, but that's understandable, provided how the game was made.
Overall I'd say 10/10, but Trine is still Trine. ;)
