  1. Absolutely necessary seson pass

For those who are through with the main game!
It tells the story in essential points further, only so it all makes a "big whole".

I own every Resident Evil game, and I've only played through part 5. This game absolutely captivated me, so I've played through the main game and the three dlcs included in the Season Pass.

This is written by someone who died 80 times on the boss "Laura".... My recommendation for this game and the Season Pass.

  2. It does add to the game but...

It's very different. Which isn't necessarily bad.

Unlike the main game, Kidman's campaign focused more on stealth and thus the game changed to proper survival horror with some puzzles of varying difficulty.

The final DLC is a first person hack n slash game set in the world of the evil within. You control the safehead and run around clobbering enemies. Completely different to the main game and the other DLC, but fun if you're into that sort of thing.

  3. Must buy for the owners of the original

If you liked the main game there is really nothing to think about and you should get it, there is no reason not to.
